Where Are We?

''Biddulph is situated on the north-western border of Staffordshire where the foothills of the pennines abut on to the Cheshire Plain, and lies in a valley which, except for glacial drift, is wholly formed from the rocks deposited during carboniferous times. It's most prominent features are the millstone grit ridges which run either side of the valley.''
